New Interesting And Useful Information
Hi All,
I had my surgery last Friday and I feel good enough to sit for a short while and write a post. I’m still quite tender and probably can only sit for maybe an hour. Since I didn’t have anything planned I am going to talk about some interesting and useful information you can use in your Internet business.
The first item I would like to cover is the BlogRush widget from the blogosphere and John Reese, which you can find on the right hand side of my website located in the sidebar. This is something new that has come out in the past couple of weeks if you didn’t know about it yet. Almost every website I visit seems to have it now. There is quite a buzz going around about it!
I decided to join up and test it out. It looked pretty interesting watching the video and I am always up for testing products that may have merit.
Basically, what it’s supposed to do is show related posts form other blogs, on a one to one basis, depending on the market you select when you sign up. You can then earn credits up to a 10 level deep system from other people who sign up from your widget on your blog. Did I mention to hurry up and sign up for your free BlogRush by clicking the tab on the BlogRush widget over there on the sidebar of my blog. :) It’s FREE! What are you waiting for?
This traffic exchange seems like it has some good points that makes it worth my time to test it out. John Reese also has a good reputation in the business so I’m counting on his abilities to come up with a winner. I think this could work good.
The hype involved with it’s launch is the only thing I am not all that pleased with. The promotional headline used was: “The Fastest and Easiest Way to Instantly Drive a Flood of Targeted Traffic to Your blog - Absolutely Free.” One thing I can assure is that this is NOT going to be the fastest way to drive a flood of traffic to your blog! For one, if you don’t have any traffic to your blog currently, then it won’t generate a single visitor. There are other proven methods that will produce “fast traffic.”
The other creative productivity tip I was introduced to was from a respected Internet colleague Derek Beau on email management. If you have a bunch of emails like I do, I think around 25, you can set up a Gmail account and have all your emails forwarded to the Gmail account. Pretty clever Derek!
The major benefit is having one central location. One Gmail account receiving all your emails is much easier to store everything in one online account and you can also access it from just about anywhere. With all the emails I have between personal and website Cpanels, managing them can become a real nightmare. No more scary dreams for me!
Well I tried to write as fast as I could and get something out to all of you since I’ve been slacking lately. My wound is feeling tender sitting here so I better get some ice on it.
I’m currently working on a few new products to launch and I will let them out of the bag as soon as they are ready. I’m guessing one of them should be ready within a week or two and the other couple of products maybe within 30 days. Naturally, they have to do with your Internet Business. I am passionate about putting out good products that are of great benefit and work to your advantage. I spend a lot of time investing in them to make sure of that. I always have been a perfectionist in everything I do. Yes, sometimes too much I’m told.:)
Thanks for reading! If you know someone who could benefit from this, feel free to forward it to him or her!
