Some of these methods might be a little involved and complicated and then there are those very simple tips that provide a great help in maximizing SEO success. Of these tips there are two very, very simple tips that most people miss when looking to boost their search engine rankings. Perhaps, it is time to take a look at them.
Select The Right Link Name
Selecting the right link name when you build your links is critical as well. This means you have to select a link name that will match what people will type into the search engines. For example, if you have a website on Science-Fiction books called “The Interstellar Domain” you do not want to name you links “The Interstellar Doman”. This is because that is not what people will type in the search engines when they want to look up information on science-fiction books. They will type in…. you guessed it….”science fiction books” or something to that effect. So, if you name your links science-fiction books, sc-fi books, etc you will have better luck with your SEO ventures.
Start Your Link Building From Day One
Another helpful tip that is often overlooked involves launching an SEO campaign as soon as the website is published. The mistake make people make is they will wait several weeks – or more - to start their link building. This is a tactical error because the spiders do not crawl for links the day the links appear. It may take several months for the spiders to crawl the web to log the links. Any needless delay in circulating links on the web will significantly delay gaining any SEO benefits. This is why it is critical to start your link building from day one.
