As most of you probably already know from reading this blog or from my emails, my #1 traffic generating technique is writing and submitting articles using Article Pro Software. It’s true, every so often I hear people not receiving the same sizzling results that I get with Article Pro Software. Hmmmm, How could this be when we’re all using the same article submission software? Well, let me tell you…its operator error! Whether it’s inexperience or laziness, it doesn’t matter. They both produce the same pathetic results.
Article Pro Software is an overpowering piece of Web Site traffic generating software…if used correctly. Otherwise it’s just another pretty face. Let me give you a quick example. You could go out and buy the meanest, badest, fastest Harley Davidson, but if you don’t yank on that throttle you will never experience the power that Hog is capable of putting out. In other words, it’s just another bike. In order for either of these products to provide maximum power they have to be operated properly.
If your not seeing amazing results from Article Pro Software, then there is a 99% chance it is due to one or more of these operating errors:
1) Your not writing three article versions.
The duplicate content penalty is real, and duplicate content articles can damage your site ranking, back links, and traffic. Today’s technologies have major search engine programmers and some of the large article directory sites equipped with sophisticated software to identify duplicate content. They use numerous metrics to evaluate Websites and pages of content to determine if an article has been duplicated on multiple sites.
Article Pro Software was specifically designed to solve the problem of duplicate content. Article Pro Software will automatically generate a slightly different (unique) article version with every submission. You should have at least a minimum of 5 paragraphs and 20 resource boxes. Resource boxes only have to be written once and you can reuse your template with each article campaign. Now take about a half hour and rewrite your original article twice so you now have three slightly different versions that retain the same paragraph structure and say the same thing, but in different words. Go back and read my post “Why Article Marketing Is My #1 Traffic Generating Strategy” (http://craigsandrews.com/2006/10/13/why-article-marketing-is-my-1-traffic-generating-strategy/).
So, if you have three versions of a 5-paragraph article, you then have what looks like 125 different articles. If only 125 sites pick up your articles, they will likely all be unique. If you have 6 paragraphs you will have 216 different variations of your article and so forth. If a few duplicates slip through, that’s fine. Remember that the “similar results” filter Google implemented is able to catch about 17 out of every 18 duplicates. Through testing, it has been proven that about 300 inbound links shrink to about 16 or 17 as they disappear into the “similar results” filter. That’s an 1875% increase in effectiveness if you can submit unique articles because the inbound links they produce all count.
If this seems like too much effort than consider the alternate scenario. If the duplicate content filters can catch 17 out of 18 duplicates then just submit 19 articles to get the same results. Now, what takes less effort? Rewriting one article twice? Or writing 19 unique articles? Game Over! If your taking shortcuts your hurting your efforts.
2) Your not using the ‘External List’ feature.
Let me ask…You are continually building your own list of publishers for your topic of interests and submitting articles to them using the external.txt file, correct? If not, your not going to achieve the maximum results of Article Pro Software. If you’re only submitting to the internal list, your probably only submitting to approximately 200 or so publishers (the portion of the internal list that matches your article topic). In comparison, my external list contains around 2,000.
It does take time and effort to build your own external list, but it’s like hitting the jackpot. If your only submitting to about 200 publishers then your not likely generating the traffic results you want.
Let’s say you start putting the time in and begin building your external list to around 2,000 publishers. Your results are going to be so much better. Instead of submitting to 200 publishers you are now generating say 700 to 800 unique articles and reaching 2,000 publishers or more!
Now do you see the incredible power of Article Pro Software? That is why it is my #1 method for traffic generation. Maybe now you can begin to understand why you may not be getting the same results I’m achieving with my article submission campaigns.
3) Your not submitting frequently enough.
The final point is to submit articles on a regular basis. You need to submit articles regularly if you want to build a successful Internet Business. Each article submission I perform I am able to gather emails signing up to my blog, or I sell product, always. How often you submit is your personal choice. It may depend on several factors e.g. time, work, and family, ect. Some submit weekly and others maybe daily. I recommend at least once or twice a week. Usually every three to four days is a good plan.
In summary, if you use Article Pro Software to it’s maximum potential you are going to see some amazing results. If you choose to take shortcuts, well you’ll probably get the same poor results as the rest of the folks wondering why. Go ahead yank on that throttle a little and see how fast you can go.
