Content Sites – Your Gateway To Internet Profits

I usually create content sites after I establish there is a viable market for a product, and where I have had some sales success through PPC advertising and other forms of effective marketing I incorporate.  Only then will I spend the time on creating content sites for various keywords I generate through my “bottom sucking keyword” strategies.  I know, your thinking how disgusting, but it’s the best matrimony of words to my method.

If you have your own content sites then you are generating your own organic traffic by your listing in the search engines.  If your content site is relative to your topic, keyword, and product you are selling, then your traffic will be much more highly targeted than a website that lacks the aforementioned qualities.

Another important factor is the quality of your content.  You must provide good content that is useful and informative.  If your content is good, the traffic that visits your site will be more likely to stick around or revisit your site increasing your chances of converting that customer to take action towards making a sale, filling out a form, or clicking on an ad or link.  If you’re content is poor, then your only going to send that traffic packing.

Your informative and useful content must be original.  If you plan on scraping together a site based on the same content as other sites, then search bots will detect this as duplicate content and penalize you severely.  If you take the time and create your site with original content, search bots will look at your site with rose colored glasses and thereby reward you with properly targeted traffic and long term higher rankings.

Content sites are one of my best ways to drive traffic to a sales page or product links.  Remember to keep your content fresh, adding on a regular basis.  Be sure you’re content is highly relative, informative, original and entirely useful.  You will please the search bots, and develop a free source of organic targeted traffic where you can then convert that traffic into sales!
